I have never been disappointed by Constance O'Banyon, and she has never proven me wrong. I read Lauren's and Garret's story three times. If you believe in love ever after, you will love this book. If you don't, you will still love this story. Ms. O'Banyon, when are you going to come out with another book?I am definately one of your biggest fan. I need more to of your books to read.

I don't have much time to read so when I do I want the book to be good. I have always counted on Constance O'banyon for that and she has never let me down. I found THE AGREEMENT to be a wonderful story. Garret Lassitor loved Lauren since she was young and he had the grace and goodness to wait until she grew up to tell her. That's my idea of a hero. If you want a good love story, you can't go wrong with this one.

The Agreement was quite a surprise to me. I don't ususlly read Historical Romances, I am a Nora Roberts fan. This is an excelant book. And guess what, there are three other authors who write about the Mcbride family. I actually bought them all after reading O'Banyon's book, and they are all good. Elaine Barbieri Wrote the first one--The Wild One. Bobbi Smith wrote the 2nd one--He Half-Breed. The 3rd and my favorite is Constance O'Banyon's The Agreement. The fourth is Evelyn Roger's is the last, and she ties the loose ends very neetly. I have since read more books by O'Banyon liked them very well too.

I am trying to break into the writing field so I have been studying different authors. THE AGREEMENT was on the bottom of my pile of "to read". It should have been on top. Constance O'Banyon is my idea of who to study if you want to read the best!Anyway, about the plot, Lauren MacBride belonges to a family from hell, at least her dad and stepmom are. She has some neat brother's though. But you'll want to hear about the rancher next door. Garret Lassiter has loved Lauren since she was young. She goes away and comes back a woman and he's been faithfully waiting for her all that time. I don't want to give too much of the story away, but it is a tender and sweet love. You will love this story.

I have never been to Texas, but I went there in this book. The Agreement is about a love so tender and sweet it will melt your heart. It is also about a family that overcames their differences and learn to forgive. I did wish, however, that the Clare, the bad, bad, lady, had been punished more. But if you want a fantastic read and a travel through a historical time-machine, plus a beautiful love story, this book is for you.

I have been this author's fan for years. I don't think I have missed a one of her books. THE AGREEMENT was one of her best, but they are all good. I want to know when I can expect another book from Mrs. O'Banyon? They told me at a book store that she cowrote a book with her daughter, but I don't know the name of it. Can anyone help me out? Please write more, Mrs. O'Banyon

I am a man, and I liked this book even if the cover was a turn off for me. My aunt urged me to forget about the cover and read it. Aunt Martha, you were right--this book is awsome. I know more about Texas than I ever thought to learn. I like this author, I'm not saying I would buy all her books, only her westerns. The Agreement is my kind of book, no matter what the cover suggested.

I picked up this book, never having read this author, but I am now her fan for life. I love the way she developed the people, almost like breathing life into them. I found out this is a four book series, so I am ordering the other three. If they are as good as Constance O'banyon's, I will love them, too. If you haven't read this book, let me urge you to take a chance and let the author take you away to another place. you will love it!

My friend told me to read this one!,

My friend is a fan of historical romance, I'm not--or I wasn't until I read THE AGREEMENT. Katy nagged me to read this book and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I got hooked by the first chapter, and didn't stop until the end. Then I went begging to my friend for all her Constance O'Banyon books. I just finished RIDE THE WIND, and I am for sure a Constance O'Banyon fan. Okay, okay, I admit, Katy, you were right. By the way, I have never written an online review before. I just want to say thank you to Constance O'Banyon for writing such a good book THANK YOU!
