Great ideas for outdoor entertaining, living, hanging out, Aug 15 2005

I thought this might be a landscape and garden design book with a lot of PB outdoor furniture featured like a catalog.
It isn't.
It's full of good ideas for outdoor entertaining, setting up a table for a family get together, complete with lighting, organizing stuff so the wind doesn't blow it away and so on.
Casual and more formal entertaining are covered in the book; also how to set up for outdoor cooking on a fire or on a bbq.
It helps with finding spaces for the ideal afternoon siesta in your yard.
Included are ways to set up the yard for organizing kid's toys and stuff.
In short, it's real people design for real life families instead of magazine style design which looks good till the toddler pushes his or her bright plastic Fisher Price toy into the midst.
I love this book just as much as the rest.
