Disappointing, Nov 27 2010

I was deceived by the pictured cover - I thought that the book would be full of iconic images from the history of Gangsta rap. To a certain extent this is correct, but make no mistake - there are few of the iconic images that stay in the public consciousness contained in the book. It is just portrait after portrait of some of the leaders of the gangsta rap movement. I'll be looking to unload this soon.

i learned how to be gangsta when i was 5. I was having a hard time gettin cash, so i popped sum dood and stole his cash. now i want my kids to be gangsta too, to make it a rill sperience'
i want every1 in my family to be gangsta
so when i needed to educate my kids on (...)how to bust sum caps in dem cops, i bought them this book. its turnin out ril fine to. they start gettin into more trouble at school, with sumn fist fightd. my oldest one juss jacked his firs car. i reccomend this book to everyone who wants to keep it gangsta. fo rill dawg.
