Truth in lending, I'm a Margaret Atwood addict.
This doesn't mean everything gets 5 stars. ORYX & CRAKE and THE YEAR OF THE FLOOD are wonderful, but not her best work. Re-reading THE BLIND ASSASSIN--now there's a fabulous piece of writing. Wow! 6 stars!
I do give MOVING TARGETS 5 stars. Chances are you'd have to be an addict to want to purchase "occasional writings," but if you are such a deviant your deviancy--and CDN$15.72--will be bring great gushing pleasure.
(I just noticed, in another Firefox pane, that MOVING TARGETS was published in the US as WRITING WITH INTENT.)
As a demonstration of my satisfaction--and need for more Atwood fixes--I ordered her earlier volume of "occasional writings," SECOND WORDS. Can't wait to leap in, although SURVIVAL is up first.
