The book was in perfect condition. It's straightforward and easy to use, and has already come in handy many times over the last few months. Very useful to developing your vocabulary for actions!

This review is from: Actions: The Actors' Thesaurus (Paperback)
This is a solid tool for actors learning the ropes of verbs and actions. Verbing a script is always a struggle at first, and this little book comes in handy.A word of warning, however: some of the verbs in this book are not really strong acting choices. The actor has to do his or her homework and weed out the ones that aren't as specific as they could be, or are just plain useless in terms of action. But overall, this book offers a good place to start.

If you're serious for acting and preparing for roles, this book will make your life easier and a little confusing at the beginning, 'cause now you have such a wide range to choose from, but like all, with practice.I carry this book everywhere. |
