I was getting a little nervous about TCP books until I picked Road Dawgz up. What an insightful read. Real nitty gritty street stuff with some excellent poetry added in. You see many street books have the same ol' same ol' but this book stands on it's own. It reminded me of the story Dutch by Teri Woods very very creative.

I read Gangsta, but Road Dawgz was better. From beginning to end it kept you open. The ending was the best. It went out with a "bang" and I mean that literally. Good Job, K'wan!!

This was a very good book. K'wan has come a long way since "Gangsta." This book is about a typical hustler that rises to the top. What sets this book apart from the others is the interesting ending and the cast of characters. K'wan has developed people you will either love or hate. It is the invocation of that kind of emotion that makes this a great book. A must read.

After reading your previous book "Gangsta" I knew for sure you were going places and would continue to do your thing. But never would I think you would do it so lovely where do you come up with some of things, it doesn't matter just keep doing your thing so I can continue to be a HAPPY READER! Oh and another thing the only thing that mad me mad was the the two character's Lou-Loc and Gutter where featured in the book, it kind of messed it up for me being that I read "Gangsta" 1st for those who read it know what I mean.

i have read all your books everyone is excellent i have stayed up to the early morning knowning i had to go to early classes it didnt matter because i had to finish the books. i just wanted to say keep up the good work. PLEASE WRITE MORE!!

Road Dawgz is my first book from this author but will definitely not be my last. This book was a quick read, not boring at all. At times you'll find yourself feeling bad for Keshawn and can see why he has to have it all but then you'll also see his selfishness. Everyone in his life is there for one reason - to keep him on top. That is the reality of the fast life. I'm glad that K'wan showed that the Road Dawgz may have gotten fast money but where did the majority of them end up? This book should be required reading for some of our young black males that fall victims to these streets. You may be on top one minute but you best believe it doesn't stay that way. These cats had to constantly watch their backs so how can you enjoy the fruits of your labor in that manner? Good book K'wan. I'll definitely go back and read Gangsta just on the strength of Road Dawgz. Keep 'em coming!!

The book was good. It covered crackheads, dirty cops, family, loyalty, greed, etc. I haven't read Gangsta yet, but I will now. Triple Crown keeps setting standards for urban literature.

It was a cool book. i feel that K'wan is one of the gifted authors that triple crown have under their belt right now.

to me dis book was a waste a time and reading it was wack i read alot and i know good books and dis aint one i read gangsta and dat was good i thought this one would be good to but i guess not sorry! but i recommend grimey,bmore careful and dutch dis one was WACK MAYBE THE NEXT ONE WILL BE BETTER

I enjoyed this book from cover to cover... the more I more, the more interesting it became. I look forward to the next novel by K'wan...if you like urban fiction or not - I strongly recommend that you go and buy this book.
