A great examination of some of the successes and failures of the animal rights movement, where they've got it right and where they've gone off track. It really turns a microscope on the movement and analyzes its own rationales to make sure they make sense. He is quite adept at showing why some don't, despite his obvious commitment to this cause. He is more interested in showing a more powerful way forward.

I read this book after I became vegan (after reading the China Study) and it made me feel bad that I didn't make the switch on compassionate grounds.
