some new ideas, a bit of a mix of everything,

I've been primal for 2 months now and bought the cookbook to get some new ideas for meals and I'm glad I've bought it - there are some interesting recipes in there. I'm a little disappointed - the recipes seem to be a total mix from all sorts of different contributors, so there's no real consistency in the quality of the recipes. Some are just plain bland and bad. If you're already handy in the kitchen you might be better off just using a regular cookbook and substituting.Where this book does come in really handy is the primal substitute category and dessert category - there are things in there I would never have thought of making in a hundred years. I've only tried a couple, they were both good.

This recipe book makes eating paleo very easy to start up. Lots of great looking pictures and the ingredients were easy to find at most stores.

No matter what your diet, this is a fun cookbook. It is well researched, has reliable recipes, great photos, and unusual twists on things.

I tried a few recipes and my whole family really enjoyed them. They are simple, tasty and made with mainstream ingredients.The problem with this cookbook is that there's no index!

I have made a few recipes from this book already and really enjoyed them. At times, they recommend getting meat or products that are not available in my region or grocery stores, but most of the recipes are fairly easy. I would like more variety for vegetables and salads, but overall it is a good book and hopefully one day it will be expanded.

I recommend this book to anyone who has special diet needs, that fact that I lost 12Lbs in a month without even trying surprised me. My energy levels and general well being has improved as well.

This is one incredible discovery! I enjoy the illustrations, the whole visual concept being wonderful. The recipes are simple to follow; It's by far my reference book for low carbing, eventhough the primal blue-print approach allows some maple syrup or honey (strict low-carbers beware of these desserts!) I've rarely come across a recipe book that gets me salivating as I open it (I have an entire bookshelf of others!); I was surprised that the recipe book following the original diet plan could be of such quality in all aspects.

This is a great cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow, and they're pretty simple. I "stole" my first recipe from a website, and I lost 2 pounds the day I ate the resulting "soup". I bought this book, and the Quick and Easy Cookbook, too. I don't follow the Primal Blueprint diet strictly, but in the 2 months since I started eating mostly this way, I've lost 16 pounds. I've tried to lose weight for years, with no good results until I found this cookbook. I don't snack anymore, and I don't get cravings. This is a great book to get you started on a life changing journey.
