I got this as a gift and decided to buy as a gift for my friends baby too. It is perfect for bedtime stories and great way to start introducing baby to God's Word. The length of each chapter is perfect to read to baby, and there are pictures for baby to look at too. The colors are nice and calm so they won't get baby too excited before going to bed. Good quality and just awesome to have!

This is a great Bible for new readers. My daughter (age 7) has just about finished with the story Bible that she's currently reading and this is the perfect follow-up. It's right on target for her reading ability with large, easy-to-read type, short passages, and filled with adorable illustrations. It's divided into sections for classic Bible stories, "Words of Praise and Wisdom", more stories, and a section of songs and prayers at the back. Each section is color-coded, making them very easy to find. I really love the addition of the praise and wisdom section ' selections from Psalms and Proverbs. Many children's Bibles don't include them, so it's very nice to see them included here. The book is sturdy with a nice hardcover binding and nice, thick pages. I definitely recommend this story Bible for young readers.
