This review is from: Superman: Last Son (Hardcover)
This story introduces General Zod (the real version) in the Post-Crisis world of DC Comics. The story gives us a history for the character we are pretty familiar with and improves upon his motives and his perspective. The characters are intersting, refreshing, and genuine to a superman story. It was enjoyable to read and go on this journey with Clark and Chris...Only two issues with this publication: First, the 3D section is interesting, however, to read it you have to take apart the 3D eye goggles fro mthe book itself. While im not a hard-core collector, I dont like the idea of 'tearing apart' the book wither. Secondly, the story is big and works well. However, it could have used another chapter(s) to delve more into the back story of the villians on Krypton and the final showdown.

I found the book to be quite interesting throughout. the story was good and the art was good as well. I like the 3d aspect of the book and it makes some of the scenes a bit more of an interesting read.
