I've been reading Doug's column for years, and this book is a great showcase for his talent. It sums up years of his best -- and funniest -- ranching humor, and makes it digestible for even the most urban of city slickers. If you like Patrick F. McManus, or any of his fellow short-story humorists, this book is a must-have. The cow on the cover is hysterical. I'm not sure if it's "Bossie" or "Looks Like Bossie." Get the book and know what I mean!
