I've been looking for years for a book like this. Commercial bras never seem to fit me, so I wanted to make my own. But even if I'm quite good at making "regular" clothing, I couldn't figure out how to draw a bra. This book offer several very interesting bras patterns, as well as swimwear, nightwear, corset, and much more. But don't expect to be able to use the book if you're totally new to sewing (unless you're really good at self-learning). You should at least be able to read a sewing pattern and have sewn at least a few simple garments before. But don't be discouraged by my warning, its much more easier than many people think to make your own garments. And they fit much more better!

Par contre,ce livre est parfait pour clarifier certain problèmes que l'on peut rencontrer lors de la coupe et du moulage d'un patron sur mesure.
Par ailleur,les autres livres de cette série sont exellents!
Je dirais,une bible pour la coupe de patrons de lingerie et maillots de bain.

This is a treasure. So simple I was floored. I once signed up for a pattern making course, paid the registration fee, bought the text and was totally overwhelmed. No big math or angles here. Just common sense - add and subtract. And the big bonus is this - with this book you can make a pattern for anything. Sleeves, necklines, collars, pockets, pants as well as the lingerie, beachwear etc. No need to buy an expensive pattern ever again.

It's clearly and fetchingly illustrated with tips on fabrics. Perfect for beginners and seasoned folks alike. Do yourself a favour. Design your own garment and make stuff that fits. This book should be in every sewer's library.
