Just a word of warning to readers - this is a simplified version of the text. The page count of this text (112) is less than half that of the HarperCollins edition (black-white cover) and Vintage Canada edition (blue-white cover).

I enjoy the language and details in a wide range of literature and I'm disappointed I unknowingly purchased this abbreviated version.

I wish I'd paid more attention to the other review(s) before purchasing this dumbed-down, simplified version of the text. I wouldn't even recommend it for children -- if the original version is too complicated, kids are better off waiting a few years until their young minds are capable of extracting and processing the original's richness.

I know this has been mentioned already, but this is NOT the full text. I bought this as a Christmas gift and am now stuck with this simplified version half the length of the original. If you want this book, buy one of the other versions, it should be over 200 pages in length.

Brave New World: This edition turned out to be a student edition with questions at the back and it was abridged. Three pages were missing due to a printing mistake. I'll have to be more careful. It truly is a brave new world.
