This is an expensive book. But the money, time, and aggravation likely saved with its information makes this book priceless. There doesn't seem to be one music-business topic that isn't covered -- and covered well. Yes, some books on specific topics might give more details, but this volume is one of the most complete overviews of the business I've ever come across. And I've read some of the best, including a well-respected, information-packed book about making it in the music business that was written by my mother about 20 years ago. Only suggestion: get the latest edition of the Baskervilles' book that you can find, since the business is, of course, changing all the time.
