One Eye in the Darkness is a suspenseful treat. Lori Derby Bingley has created a plot that will have you on the edge of your seat. She displays a rare skill for bringing the action to a pivotal, heart-stopping crescendo, just to rebuild the tension on the next page. Her writing will have you jumping at noises and shadows as you experience the apprehension and danger that surrounds Cassie. Lori has embodied this work with a variety of characters that add dimension and emotion to the plot. The main characters are believable and readers will appreciate the development and depth they portray. The developing relationship between Jordan and Cassie will have you holding your breath in anticipation, while the ongoing accidents and events will fill you with apprehension. One Eye in the Darkness will not disappoint fans looking for some surprising twists and turns in an already dramatic suspense.

One Eye in the Darkness is a fabulous thriller! There were enough suspects to keep the reader wondering at who the villain truly was throughout the entire story. Yet it was never overcomplicated or overcrowded with too many characters. And I have to say that I'm a sucker for a white knight. Jordan was perfectly portrayed as one for Cassie's damsel in distress. The sparks flew off the pages when they were together!

Having never read anything by Lori Derby Bingley before, I was unsure what to expect. I was most definitely impressed! This story contains everything I love about a great story: romance, sexual sparks, and a good mystery thrown in the mix. I'll be on the lookout for the next one from her, and I'd recommend you do the same!

Lori Derby Bingley has done it again! She has come up with another bestseller! When I read her debut novel "The Night She Came Home" it was one of the best books I'd ever read. But now I have to say that this one is, if possible, even better! A phone call in the middle of the night. Cassie discovering that her son is missing. And the violent death of her ex-husband. So many questions to be answered and Lori Derby Bingley answers them well. I was drawn into the book by an excellent intrigue and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. This is as good as it gets and I already find myself waiting for the next one!

Tired of the same old suspense stories? Lori Derby Bingley brings fresh blood to the romantic suspense genre. Ms. Bingley's writing is crisp and detailed, yet filled with emotion. Her heroine, Cassie, has the strength and resolve to rival any male lead but is willing to show her softer side and follow her heart. ONE EYE IN THE DARKNESS had me hook, line, and sinker from the first paragraph and I couldn't put it down until I was finished. ONE EYE IN THE DARKNESS IS an exceptional book not to be missed.
