Sly Humor with a Twist of Tongue in Cheek...,
By Edgar Z. Balldinger (Sacramento, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nutty Naughty Nonsense (Paperback)
Just one more hibernation away and you're gonna get a snoot-full of impromptu lyrical verse from the slick side of Ms. Salvatore's Canadian humor mine. I rolled through this book like one of the rubber chickens on the cover, snickering and cackling all along the hen-pecked trail of laughter. Recommended entertainment to quell the serious imperatives of a war-driven world, and to get a taste of the lighter side of it all.

Refreshingly Funny!,
By Pol (Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nutty Naughty Nonsense (Paperback)
In a field where many poets tackle the meaning of life, the pursuit of peace, the wonders of nature or share their heartaches and observations with the world, W. Salvatore's poetry is humorously outlandish and wonderfully refreshing to read. That's not to say that her poems don't explore heavy subjects, such as death, freedom or love; it's just that she pokes good fun at them while delivering the moral. Her book had me giggling well after I finished it. If you are looking for zany-adult humor, (and I do mean a-d-u-l-t) I highly recommend this book.
