One of the Best Books on CSS
I think this is one of the best books on CSS and I'll tell you why:
* As a newbie and Web Technology student, I find this book is very easy to understand (compared to "SAMS CSS").
* Andy Budd, the author, explains clearly each properties and why he included them in examples on each chapter - you won't wonder why he included the "line-height"...

Some good tips...
This book felt incomplete. There are other books on the topic that are more descriptive, complete and that help the reader to master CSS better.
The book is weak on the visual side. Not enough figures.

One of the Best Books on CSS, Avril 26 2008
I think this is one of the best books on CSS and I'll tell you why:
* As a newbie and Web Technology student, I find this book is very easy to understand (compared to "SAMS CSS").
* Andy Budd, the author, explains clearly each properties and why he included them in examples on each chapter - you won't wonder why he included the "line-height" property on that, or why did he used "em" on that part, etc.
* I like that I can download all the files on each chapter (from a website given by the author), so you could follow along, and do it from scratch by yourself.
* This book has clearly explained to me how the "box" works in CSS (which is kind of tricky) as well as the use of "navigation bars".
* I find myself often saying, "Ahhh...so that's how it works!".
* The author also clearly explains the browser compatibilities.
* And the tips and tricks, and hacks, are a must learn for web designers.
* I do not find this book ever boring at all with sufficient graphics, examples, and clear explanations - I like Andy Budds style of writing as well.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this to anyone who is learning CSS. Beginners, Novices, or Intermediate Designers would love this book. I love this book! :-)
