5.0 out of 5 stars OH Yes He Did!
If you enjoy watching What Not to Wear and Clinton's hilariously accurate comments to completely oblivious fashion misfits then I guarantee you'll laugh as hard as I did reading this book. Gone is the "safe for TV Clinton" and in his place is the "brutally honest and completely witty Clinton". Highly recommend this light and thoroughly entertaining read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Oh no is right
Sometimes I think Clinton must write his books so that him and his friends can sit and laugh as the money rolls in. This book is funny at times, biting at every turn and completely useless if you're looking for any sort of advice on fashion. In this book each page is dedicated to a fashion crime but very little space is given to what you should do about it. This could...

This could be because the solutions are so obvious - case in point, his page on wet ponytails. Well yes, of course that is a no-no but I don't think those people are reading this book so why not try to give some real tips on real issues to those who are looking for a little advice?
Not very funny and not helpful at all.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Everything is a Mistake, May 10 2014

This review is from: Oh No She Didn't: The Top 100 Style Mistakes Women Make and How to Avoid Them (Hardcover)
I found this book entertaining, although sometimes vulgar. A lot of the stuff we already know like not wearing socks with sandals. Wearing pajamas outside is something nobody does anyways. I think denim on denim looks nice. Some people look good in black. He does not account for personal taste. I think I could write a book like this.
1. Men who shave their heads, but not their beards.
2. Too tight clothes,(too tight shirts, too tight pants, too tight jackets.) I don't need three pages to say this like he did.
3. Too much cleavage at work and everywhere else.
4. Tattoos that can't be hidden under clothes. You can't get a professional job where people take you seriously.
5. Wearing leggings, but not wearing a long top over top.
6. Dying your hair red, then wearing purple and pink. You have to wear the wardrobe that goes with it, like brown and green.
7. White clothes that have to be dry cleaned.
8. Sleeveless shirts and blouses.
9. Wearing jewellery that doesn't go together.
10. Wearing clothes that are too short, (short shorts, short skirts, short shirts and t-shirts). I don't need three pages for this.
He didn't make that much effort, but it was funny anyways.

Loved this book! It was a quick read, but the witty, sometimes slightly biting tone made me laugh all the way through -- while also illustrating some pretty good fashion faux pas.

4.0 out of 5 stars I laughed out loud!, Aug. 7 2011
This review is from: Oh No She Didn't: The Top 100 Style Mistakes Women Make and How to Avoid Them (Hardcover)
I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of meeting Clinton at a conference I was attending in Montreal, he signed the book and I got a chance to chat briefly with him. He is very engaging and funny and doesn't take himself too seriously which translates to a very entertaining read for anyone who needs a kick in the proverbial fashion butt!
