This recipe book was not what I expected.

It wanted to jazz up some protein to make the diet easier to stick to. The recipes in the book were not a lot of foods that I would eat (rabbit,livers etc) --maybe you would, but not my taste. It is mostly sauces or spices which I was already using. It is just as easy to add spices, yogurt etc to taste on your own.

There were 2 recipes I used, but I found them previously on the internet
I was not really impressed with the book.

Wished I had saved my money, but I was curious and thought it might help--it didnt.

I was very disappointed with this cookbook. Not very useful for US or Canadian customers. I think it was initially written in French for people in France and translated (not very well -- literally in some cases) for North American people. We don't even have some of the ingredients some recipes call for.

My husband choosed to go along with Dr. Dukan's diet. Because it doesn't allow any fat and asks for lots of proteins, it was difficult to find appealing recipes. But with the recipes proposed in this book, it's making it easy to please the palate of a "gourmand". I recommand it strongly.
