This book has special meaning to my husband and I. We had the good fortune to meet Lincoln Alexander in 1988 when he came to Muskoka, Ontario to present the Ontario Junior Citizen of the year award to our daughter Susan. We found him to be a warm caring person and my daughter took an instant liking to him. Sharyn Mitchell mom of Susan.

This review is from: Go to School, You're a Little Black Boy: The Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander: A Memoir (Hardcover)
I have known Linc for close to fifty years. In 1968 I was privileged to nominate him to run again as the Progressive Conservative candidate in Hamilton West, when he won against the Trudeau Liberal tide that swept across Canada. Linc has lived a remarkable life. In this book he provides just a little insight into his life's journey, with his beloved wife Yvonne. His early life is set out from its simplicity to the grandeur of being Her Majesty's representative as Lieutenant Governor for the Province of Ontario.
