I Feel Orange Today - Wonderful Book!,
By Walter Cox (The Lone Star State) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I Feel Orange Today (Library Binding)
Someone gave us this book as a baby gift and we've been reading it to our son for some time now. He really enjoys it; it provides a nice description of feelings in a context in which a child can comprehend. Our son is too young to understand the definitions of emotions, as he is only 16 months old, but it has a very peaceful rhythm to it, is very beautifully illustrated, and really holds his attention. It's a great book to add to your child's library, as it is one that can be used through ages 4-5 years old, since that's about when they might understand more about feelings and emotions.

Bit of a rip,
By
This review is from: I Feel Orange Today (Paperback)
I don't know, the book is fine, and the publisher is reputable, but I can't help feeling this is a rip off of My Many Colored Days The price is right, and it's an okay story enjoyed by the kids, but the Seuss version is unmistakenably better. The one advantage of "I feel Orange" is that it is tiny so easy to slip into a pocket to carry with you for reading on trips etc. (The other Annikin edition tiny pocket books are all without exception, highly recommended for their quality, price, and portability.)
