A great reference tool while on a hike on the trails of beautiful BC. It has great pictures and descriptions of all the plants we came across. A must for your backpack or armchair!

Concise, interesting guide of plants in this region. Relatively easy to use, and as easy to use as could be considering the complexity and variety of the flora contained within. Seems to be more strongly made than the average softcover, which is good because you'll be pulling it in and out of your pack as you wander around the forest. A word of caution, make certain you consider the four fold increase in duration of your hikes when carrying this book; you won't be able to pass by a plant unidentified.
