A quirky cruising guide to the north coast of British Columbia,
By SV Janine (Vancouver, BC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Far-away places: 50 anchorages on the Northwest Coast (Paperback)
This out-of-print and somewhat out-of-date cruising guide contains entertaining descriptions of 50 selected anchorages between the north end of Vancouver Island and the BC/Alaska border (on both the traditional inside passage and the less-travelled outside passage). It also includes chapters on various aspects of cruising in this area(weather, fishing, anchoring, bears etc.). If you want the most practical and comprehensive cruising guide to this area, get "Exploring the North Coast of BC". But if you want an entertaining read - as much travelogue as cruising guide - this is a charming and useful book.
