Most of us have an idea of how to eat; we all honestly know what is good and what is bad, don't we? But sometimes we just need to be put back on the right track and guided in the proper direction, with encouragement from someone who has done it and knows what she's talking about.

This is a great book to help you know what to eat, and when. The two weeks worth of sample menus are great.

There is no requirement to purchase odd ingredients and really, it's a very simple concept.

This book might be usefull for all of those who are new to dieting or who have no understanding of nutrition. Otherwise there is not much new in this book that you couldn't have read already in other books or in 'Oxygen' magazine. You can summerize the whole book by this: 'NO PROCESSED FOOD PLEASE'. For readers like myself this is just another title on a popular topic of dieting, which lacks on originality and depth. If you'd like to read something more original I suggest 'Can We Live 150 Years'. You will find there great tips on proper food combination, and the chapter about obesity is probably almost all you need to know...

This book is excellent for anyone trying to eat healthy and change their lifestyle. All information is written in a very clear and easy way to understand. Great book, I am very happy

wow. If i never bought this book i would not have known that carrots has a high glycemic index. you learn alot reading this book. a must have in every household.

Like the other two reviewers already stated... it's a nice shiny glossy colorful book full of great nutrition advice for the person starting out on a new path of healthful eating. NO JUNK is the principle and is elaborated on so everyone will understand the full spectrum of unhealthy foods.
I would not even recommend this for people with some nutrition knowledge who need to get back to basics, as it is so simple indeed. There are a lot of "filled" pages, the book could easily be condensed.
