This is the first cookbook that I read from cover to cover like a book. Rocco's inspiring stories are accompanied by vivid photography. Most of the recipes are incredibly simple and therefore easy to build upon.

I love his show, so I bought his book. The cookbook is great it's like a storybook. The recipes are easy. Buy the CD so when you are cooking his recipes you can listen to the music. One of the best cookbooks I have purchased in a long time. I have over 50 cookbooks and he is in my top 5.

Great Book have already tried some recipes. This is the second book that I am ordering and this one will be a gift for someone else

An interesting approach on how to write a cook book. It not only has interesting, easy to prepare recipes, but it also gives the reader a novel way of looking at how the italian culture and food are so interwined. It gives the reader a behind the scenes look as to how and when these recipes started. If you're like me and loves to cook but hates all of those recipes with 101 items and hours of preparation then this book is for you.

This cookbook is an absolute treat to use and to read! Recipes are uncomplicated, using a minimum of ingredients. A beginner could really learn a lot from the book, but experienced cooks out there will have fun picking up some new twists...and who could resist just drooling over the stunning photography?

My decision to buy David Rocco's cookbook was inspired by watching his program on The Cooking Channel. The natural ease in which he shows his culinary expertise is truly authentic and classic Italian. His techniques are made simple enough that anyone who has had a desire to cook Italian food will be captured by David's style and flair for the cuisine that is enjoyed all over the world.

His way of incorporating the Italian lifestyle while in his kitchen in Florence, Italy only adds to the authenticity of his recipes many of which I recognized from my Grandmother's own kitchen. His flair for the "sweet life" of Italy comes through in this cookbook and anyone who has never cooked will be tempted to follow his talent to create these culinary delights.

I would highly recommend David's cookbook for anyone who has been to Italy or is wanting to visit this land of gastronomic heaven and come back with the desire to create many of the same dishes.

I am very keen about David's show. So I ordered his book and it did not disappointed me. It is very pleasant to read. Great photos and wonderfull recipies. And it is not only about cooking. There are interesting stories about the italian style of life. Half cooking book, half novel. Recommended!

Love it! Love it! Love it! David Rocco is a culinary genius! His recipes are delicious and easy to make, plus he uses easy everyday ingredients so you can make these recipes without going out to the supermarket for those hard-to-find things.

I love this cookbook. David Rocco has a flare for cooking. There are some really nice simple recipes using staple ingredients. Many recipes brought me back to my childhood, as they were very similier to the way my mother cooked as I was growing up. Yummy! Loved all the scenic pictures of Italy as well. I would recommend this cookbook.

I LOVE this book. I found it at my friends house and she is a great cook. After only browsing through for a few minutes I ordered it right away. I love that David has a story about each recipe and why you would make it and maybe pair it with. Great for anyone who wants to impress but with as much ease and simple ingredients as possible!
