5.0 out of 5 stars Another great "Jack Taggart" book, Sept. 2 2014
Very exiting and a good read. If you haven't read the previous books in the Jack Taggart series, run and buy, you will not regret it.
Fast paced and I couldn't put it down

I love the fact that this book is based in areas that I know and talks of places I have been.

5.0 out of 5 stars More character development of Jack Taggart, May 20 2014
This review is from: Dead Ends: A Jack Taggart Mystery (Paperback)
The writing is riveting, visceral, and fast paced. I look forward to each new Jack Taggart mystery. I've met the author personally and he is very approachable and have great shared experiences.

don further develops the Jack taggart character while giving more insight into how outlaw gangs operate in BC. Very interesting weaving of fiction and nonfiction

5.0 out of 5 stars Jack is back!!!!!, Oct. 31 2011
This review is from: Dead Ends: A Jack Taggart Mystery (Paperback)
Jack's back!!!!! Another good ride with Don Easton's latest novel. The front and the back of the novel tie up really well....You won't see the end coming....I read the book in a little over a day because I couldn't put it down. I think this is one of his best. When is the next Jack book out?

5.0 out of 5 stars On the Money!!!!, Oct. 4 2011
This review is from: Dead Ends: A Jack Taggart Mystery (Paperback)
Easton's 'Dead Ends' is right on the money when detailing the antics of Defence Council and the judiciary. There is little accountability for either of these two professions. Easton tells a sordid tale which is unfortunately too true to life. The courts are too willing to accept information and/or stories provided by Defence Council and their clients without considering the veracity of the information given. The gangsters of today have no respect for anything or anyone as is detailed in reported crimes and on going current court cases. Because of Easton's experiences, he is able to tell it like it is. Another great book detailing the exploits of Jack Taggart!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dead Ends, Aug. 8 2011
This review is from: Dead Ends: A Jack Taggart Mystery (Paperback)
Review of Dead Ends by Don Easton

Well readers, again, Mr. Easton has taken us back into the sordid criminal world. This setting could be your town anywhere in the world. It happens to take place mainly in the British Columbia Lower Mainland.
Hero 'Jack Taggart' of the RCMP has to walk between the lines shall we say, in order to get his targets their due.
This is another illustration of the pathetic Judicial system and the mamby-pamby treatment of 'juveniles' that causes murder to be gotten away with so many times. Read this novel and you will understand why Taggart has to do what he has to do. He fictionally is the Jack Bauer of the police undercover operative here in this thriller.

In the real streets, life is cheap and if you don't believe it, Grab a copy and find out why!

I recommend the author's new Website if you want behind the scenes of Taggart's world. [...]
