Changed my whole approach!,

This review is from: Competency Based Interviews (Paperback)
I interviewed at medical school last year and was not granted admission ONLY because I was unable to answer competency based interview questions. I am applying again this year and this book is my Bible! It walks you through the entire interview process and stimulates your brain to search other resources that will provide complimentary information. The book is laid out very well, thus as I prep for interview questions I keep a copy within arms reach of my computer as a resource for ideas on answering the questions. The author, Robin Kessler, really goes above and beyond! She and I have had email contact and she is helping me get ready for the next round of medical school interviews this spring. This is the most bang for the buck advice I have received all year in my interview prep.

Very Useful,

This review is from: Competency Based Interviews (Paperback)
When I originally competed for my career, I went through the traditional interview.......tell us your likes/dislikes, what are your strengths and weaknesses.....Competency Based Interviews require a different skill set. I watched as people would FAIL the interview, yet not understand why. This book clearly defines what they are looking for, how you are graded, and how to improve your own answers. It provided useful advice and lead me to finishing FIRST in my promotional process!
