A total scam
on April 8, 2001
The entire premise of this book is that the aqncient Sanskrit language of India is a "magical" language and if you combine certain sounds together they then become mantras and if you then repeat the mantras over and over again the sound is supposed to connect you with some kind of cosmic forces that will transform your life more into what you want. This is a joke and a fraudulant lie. Magic words do not create your reality, your thoughts create your reality. The so-called magic words in and of themselves are useless. This is a total scam created by the Vedic Hindu Caste Brahmin guru's who gave "initiations" into the "magic mantras" for their own financial profit, just like they all did when they brought this hocus pocus to the Western world. It is a total lie that the mantra in and of itself can do anything for you. The mantras are all names of the various Hindu archetypal gods and goddesses, the qualities and attributes of whom you are trying to develop within yourself during your meditations. You must know what the mantra means as a representation of the archetype and when and how to use the mantra in order for it to be of any benefit. The mantras are part of Patanjali's yoga system which includes the meditation techniques known as asana, pranayama, pratyahara and darayana. These are known in the Western world as hypnotic induction techniques which are meant to take you beyond the conscious Beta mind into the realm of the unconscious Theta mind, wherein lies all of the powers you are seeking. The process begins with pratyahara which is an eye fascination by staring at something. This initiates the "fight or flight" response and causes the Alpha mind to come forth and put you in a light meditational Alpha state by focusing the wandering conscious Beta mind on the present moment in preparation to either fight or flight. You then do asana of ritualistic bodily movement or positioning which is meant to bring about a state of separation from the physical body. This is followed by pranayama which is purposeful slow breathing and physical relaxation which will take you to a deeper state of meditation known as Deep Alpha wherein you conscious mind has totally stopped thinking. You now do the mantra which reminds you of the particular qualities and attributes of the god or goddess. This will take you to the Theta mind wherein you get the archetypal images that represent and will bring you all of the powers you are going for. This is the actual use of mantras but this is all of the secret information none of the guru's are allowed to teach you because you were not born into the right Hindu Brahmin Caste. The use of mantras as propounded in this book is Kindergarten. The beneficial results allegedly obtained by other reviewer's of this book was becaue they were focusing on what they wanted while they were doing the mantra, and their thoughts attracted into their life what they wanted, which is called creative visualization. Mantras do work if you know how to use them and how they work, but the philosophy that the mantra in and of itself is a "magical vibration" that will have an effect on you life just by repeating the mantra even if you don't know what the mantra means, is a total scam.
