Easy to follow, and tasty recipes. Many simple but effective ideas for the novice to Italian cooking. I love the food at Frankies Restaurant and can't wait to try out some of my favorites.
Beautiful line drawings illustrate the recipes. Many congrats to the artist, Sarah Rutherford!

This book is entertaining to read, and the recipes work well for a home cook. The meatballs are absolutely amazing, as is the Sunday Sauce. Those two recipes are worth the price of the book. Plus, it is a beautiful book that looks great on your shelf!

Love the laid back attitude towards cooking. Takes the pressure off the cook. Too many cookbooks have you running all over the city look for ingredients that are hard to find, then you have a gazillion steps to do before you get the final dish.

this has become one of my favorite Italian cook books.....and its simple. Send them out now to friends as gifts and everyone claims to love it. The meals are a hit with every one who eats or tastes the meal.
