This review is from: The Resistance Band Workout Book (Paperback)
There is a lot to like about this book. It's concise, and yet it packs a lot, with good explanations about how to approach your workouts. And although the pictures/diagrams aren't very pretty (they're drawings, not pictures per se), they are clear and easy to understand. What I didn't like about the book is the lack of a TOC and INDEX. Not only does this make it difficult to prepare your own program, but the programs that are offered in the book as examples do not show the page number for each exercise ... so you end up wasting a lot of time finding what you need. To cut to the chase, I made photocopies of each exercise diagram and use it as a deck to sort out which exercise I want to perform and in what order. But content wise, this book is one of the best, with a wide variety of exercises, very well explained, with due attention to form. It would have easily won a 5-star rating with a TOC, an index, and page references for the exercises listed in the various routines. Cheers! |
