This book is everything you need to walk you through the steps of storybook creation: guidelines for age-appropriate language, exercises including analyzing other picture books for structural elements, and plenty of advice from a pro. I have several books in this writing-for-kids genre and this book should be part of every children writer's library. Well-written, enjoyable reading.
