I'm not too old for Narnia! At 40, I now know why CS Lewis was so revered as a "children's story writer". The Radio Theatre CD set will give hours and hours of wonderful driving trip adventures. This is also the best price I've found yet. Buying more sets for gifts!

We have listened to these CD's at least 10 times since we purchased them 2 years ago. My children have listened to them far more than that. They are well acted, produced,... everything about this item is fabulous. Buy them and you will not be disappointed.

I read the Narnia books as a girl and loved them. I also enjoyed the movies as an adult. I now have two boys aged 6 and 7 years, and though we have not yet started to read the Narnia stories to them, we regularly listen to them on CD. The boys love the stories, and have taken to listening to them when they get home from school, to wind down from the day, as they draw, colour or play. Although some of the stories are a bit too rich in detail for my boys to understand, they generally love the fact that the different characters are actually "acted" by different voices that match the characters' age and gender. We have not gotten through all the CDs yet, but of course, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", is already the favourite.

Just as awesome as the books. THe books come to life as the radio theatre takes its course. THe acting is great and very imersing. It is not word from word from the book itself (which is a good thing) but some of it is. Buy it! Totally worth it
