This book was very entertaining and at many parts was hilarious! In the Kidsboro series they always have something fun and interesting to offer. However if you have read all the books before this you will already know this, But if you have read all the previous books you should also know that there were mentions of Ryan's past and him and his mother changing their names and moving away from California in an attempt to escape a violent and often drunk father. In this one however there was more mention of it than in the other books. because (SPOILER ALERT) in this book his father actually shows up and claims he is a christian and has changed, Which is alright and everything but the way it was written with Ryan frantically running upstairs and locking the door to call the police which includes some of Ryan's memories of his father's violent behavior smashing lamps and Ryan's fear of being beaten when his father was in a drunken rage by a baseball bat, It unlike the other books expresses a lot of fear in a subject some parents may not find suitable for their children, But for younger teenagers this book should be okay. In the whole book I would have to say that would be the only concern. So again, Very funny, Very entertaining, But be forewarned of this content also.
