For those of you who are in search of a putting stroke I offer you three books that you should consult. The first one is by Golf Digest and was published back in 1973. It is called All About Putting. This book illustrate many different putting strokes. The second book you should consult is Paul Runyan's book called The Short Way to Lower Scoring. And the last book is this book written by Dave Stockton. What I like about this book is that it covers the critical aspects of the putting stroke. Despite the fact that Dave has his opinion and the book is written from his point of view, he is very open to other methods. Such is the topic of putting. Dave gives you the best advice he can yet he recognizes others have putted using different ideas. Such is the character of putting. As you search for your putting stroke be open to learning as many different putting strokes as possible. In doing so, you will increase your chances of finding the right stroke for you. You will have arrived at your destination when you can roll the ball like Loren Roberts.
