Bought this book in hopes of doing some backyard blacksmithing, the setup shown is nice but to nutch for me. I was looking for something I could put up in my backyard and take down at night. But I got alot of tips and ideals from this book, good read.

This book was just as I expected. Good explanations, nice color photos and well worth the price. Not as detailed as Mark Aspery's black smithing books, but it's definitely a useful resource to have!

If you are thinking about blacksmithing as a hobby or a profession, this is the first book to buy.Shop/forge set up and tooling and techniques are simply explained, sometimes with a little of Lorelei's humour. I highly recommend this book. |
