5.0 out of 5 stars You won't be a dumbbell after reading this book.
Just about everything you ever wanted to know about dumbbells. The book is divided up into three parts. The first part, the truth about dumbbells, explains all about the different types of dumbbells. The second part, the master moves, shows you the exercises you can do with a dumbbell which includes many pictures and instructions. This part makes up about 80% of the book...

2.0 out of 5 stars Fause représentation : 21 000 mouvements ? pas vraiment

Just about everything you ever wanted to know about dumbbells. The book is divided up into three parts. The first part, the truth about dumbbells, explains all about the different types of dumbbells. The second part, the master moves, shows you the exercises you can do with a dumbbell which includes many pictures and instructions. This part makes up about 80% of the book. And finally, part three, a million moves for your muscles, essentially provides the reader with tips and suggested routines.

A great resource if you're into dumbbells, readers who lift regularly might also be interested in Treat Your Own Rotator Cuff to prevent rotator cuff tears a lot of lifters eventually get.

I invested over 350 dollars in my dumbbells (bought Bowflex) and using them 7 months. This book opened new horizons to me of how they can be used. The book contains a lot of new exercises that I could not think about. I especially liked exercises for core part, I found a lot's of new one. Book presents very interesting approach for extending excises, creating new and making workout more effective. I liked the book. Must have with your pair of dumbbells. I suggest it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book if you workout at home with dumb bells, Sep 11 2011
This review is from: Men's Health Ultimate Dumbbell Guide: More Than 21,000 Moves Designed to Build Muscle, Increase Strenth, and Burn Fat (Paperback)
This book is an excellent resource for people that workout at home with dumb bells. It gives you plenty of ideas for new dumb bell exercises to incorporate into your workout. There are lots of pictures to show you how the exercises are supposed to be done. There are workout routines at the back of the book but I did not find them particularly useful.

I personally used this book to switch up exercises while doing the Body for Life program.

This book is a must have if you're planning on having a home gym with a limited budget. For the most part, all you'll really need is a set of dumbbells. Awesome Book :)
