4.0 out of 5 stars mass effect: redemption review
Over all, this is a great read for any fan of the Mass Effect franchise. It fills in the blanks surrounding Shepard's recovery, and what happened to Liara T'Soni prior to the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC. 3.0 out of 5 stars OK
This book works to fill in some side stories for the Mass Effect universe. The art is well done and the story is interesting, but it wasn't overly compelling or anything that you truly needed for the ME series. If you are a hardcore collector, sure, go ahead and get it, but there isn't anything here that you really need that won't be explained in ME3.

4.0 out of 5 stars mass effect: redemption review, April 28 2012
This review is from: Mass Effect Volume 1: Redemption (Paperback)
Over all, this is a great read for any fan of the Mass Effect franchise. It fills in the blanks surrounding Shepard's recovery, and what happened to Liara T'Soni prior to the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC. While it isn't necessary to fully grasp the story of the DLC, it's great for additional information. The artwork in the book was quite good, with the exception of the drawings for Liara. I found that she was lacking in some of her unique characteristics, such as her freckles, or the spots near the top of her head. It was difficult to tell her apart from a regular asari, until her name was revealed, of course. Aside from that, the book was excellent and I definitely recommend it to fans.

4.0 out of 5 stars Liara being a bad ass, June 7 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mass Effect Volume 1: Redemption (Paperback)
This comic really showcases how strong of a character Liara really was in M.E. It makes you really root for her and gives you interesting back story on several interesting minor characters.
