Absolutely phenomenal book, clear, well written .. It completely improved and inspired my relationship with my horse..!
If you adore your horse and want a deep connection with it, this is a great book to get!

anyone who has an animal MUST read this book. the whole thing applies to dogs as well as horses w a few adaptations obviously.
teaches respect and consideration and a calm approach to teaching rather than training. there IS a difference.

This could have been a good book; sadly, it is not. In many instances, the author states how critically important it is to do a specific thing, then fails to explain how to do it, or to even provide references as to how a person could research the answer. It is an Ok book to read if you have nothing better to do with your time. I found that the half dozen valuable pieces of information that I got from the book were certainly not worth the price I paid for it. I wouldn't even recommend it for a beginner, as there are too many gaps in the information that could have been provided.
