Great book!I saw it in the waiting room of my doctor, I just had the time to read of few pages, and I really wanted to get this book. It's a trip by itself with fantastic pictures and very interesting information on each country.

This is an amazing book at an amazing price - a great gift! The photos are beautiful and creative. The synopses, while necessarily brief, are creative, interesting, often funny... Recommendations for books, music, and food lead to fascinating internet exploration... And now I would like to visit a few places I never would have considered before (i.e. Bulgaria...) I've purchased six already for teachers, friends, and family! Plus I am still enjoying my copy...

As a travel agent I am always interested in information about countries that I have not visited and other people's take on countries that I have visited. In this book I found succinct, accurate and interesting insights into the countries I know and those that I would like to know.
