3.0 out of 5 stars "And now, for all the youngsters in the audience....", Dec 27 2010
This review is from: Doctor Who: The Forgotten Army (Hardcover)
The Forgotten Army is a well-written bit of fun that's sure to please any Doctor Who fan. As long as they are not over the age of 13 that is.

And so I ask: is it just me or are the new series of books written for a more youthful (read: young) audience? While the Virgin books and later the continuing adventures of the eighth Doctor seemed to be just what we fans from the original Doctor(s) needed, the same can't be said for the latest efforts. Perhaps an indication of the intended audience's age might be added somewhere on the novels in order to avoid disappointment--at least for those of us who feel 900 years of age sometimes.

Oh who am I trying to kid? I'd probably buy it, read it, complain, wait a bit and then regenerate my enthusiasm.
