Amazing and beautiful, a must-have for costume designers and more, Feb 6 2011

This book is absolutely beautiful. Large, full page photographs of all sorts of historical underwear with indepth line drawings to acccompany them gives us a real look into the world of fashion history. The book comes from the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and has photos of their collection, so the garments are both historically accurate and well-researched. For anyone who needs a look into the real garments in the last few hundred years, this book is stunning. I work as a costume designer and I will always have this book in my collection!!!
