This is another gorgeous book from Midori... sprinkled with gorgeous photos of her shot by Steve Diet Goode!The information about this book makes it sound like it's for (vanilla, new) `adventurous couples' - but it's really a collection of Midori's essays throughout the years, and while there are some essays that are a bit more mild than wild - the majority are fascinating essays written by a fascinating woman directly speaking to the active kink/leather/fetish community. If you're a fan of Midori's writing (such as her Seductive Art Of Japanese Bondage book) you'll like this book too - thoughtful essays on topics that are often brought up in the kink community - liberally adorned with clips featuring her delicious recollections. If you like this book, you might also like "Beneath the Skins" by Ivo Dominquez... although his writing is a little more political and a little less poetic. |
