5.0 out of 5 stars Thich Nhat Han's best book, Mar 31 2010
This review is from: Breathe, You Are Alive: The Sutra on the Full Awareness Of Breathing (Paperback)
This is Thich Nhat Han's best book in my opinion. He gives specific techniques about breathing as a doorway into the now moment, grounding you in the present, calming anxiety and connecting you with the spaciousness that is. He says at one point that if he were about to crash on an airplane, he would practice the breathing exercises written in this breathing sutra. It's more technical than his other works, and the tools he provides are really the heart's doorway into transformation, if practiced. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for practical techniques, of which there are few, into to the spaciousness and joy eastern perspectives can provide to us westerners
