I am still only 1/4 of the way through, but I am enjoying it much more than any manual on hobby farming or raising chickens. Her ups and downs and learning as she goes has been extremely informative. I have been wanting to start my own hobby farm for a while, and as soon as I saw this on the bookshelf, I grabbed it!
You'll go through a myriad of emotions reading this. Laughing at the problems that pop up while farming, and anger or frustration at the regulations she had to face, and the direction she took the farm because of the Canadian / BC laws.
Highly recommend this book.
