An eye opener towards naturopathic medicine, July 1 2009

This is an excellent book for anyone interested in the fight against cancer. The topic and the text are well laid out and Dr McKinney does an excellent job of introducing basic oncology and in making compelling arguments in support of naturopathic medicine to complement conventional approaches. Both recommendations and caveats based on evidence and experience are even handed. Extensive information given on diet, food supplements and discusses as well, traditional chinese medicine (TCM) and other holistic methods. It is both an enjoyable read and a rare reference source. Thanks to student S. Moss and instructor C Herrington in the art and science of TCM, for bringing this helpful book to my timely attention.
