I unfortuneately received this book days before Tim Heatherington was killed in Libya by mortar fire. Some of the photographs were touching, shocking, some were contradictions of the environment, but the pictures detailing S/Sgt. Larry Rougle's death and Sgt. Clinard's reaction made me weep, despite having seen Restrepo.
One of my friends had to get up and walk away from the book at that point also, even though he had attempted to prepare for the images.
The book contains some narratives, explanations of the pictures as Tim thought were required; and completes the journey begun by War & Restrepo.
