Easily the best purchase I've every made. This book really captures Michael. It includes rare pictures of our King and beautiful artwork. Every fan should own a copy of this Opus. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

this huge book is one of my best purchases of all time. i purchased it back in 2009, when the book just published. great one, and i dont want to ever sell it.

When they say that this Opus is big they're not lying, it's a huge coffee table book, weighs a ton and it looks fantastic. The Michael Jackson Opus is a great 400 pages tribute to a man who dedicated all his life to music, he deserved it. It covers many aspects of his life and the chapters all do by covering different subjects such as his childhood and visions. It captures a lot of great memories with the photographs which included many I've never seen that looked great. It was touching to read the tributes that people like Quincy Jones, Reverend Jesse Jackson and many others have said about him. When I read about the Michael Jackson estate's approval of the book I knew it would be special. It's great for a dedicated fan but t doesn't offer much that is really, really rare. Perhaps they over-hyped the book but I still think the resulting product is great.

In the end just how satisfying is the Michael Jackson Opus? I loved it and liked everything it had to offer, the pictures, fan art and all but I think that for a book this price they could perhaps have included something more than the usual. They said that Michael worked with them to make the opus, I don't know if that's true but the book is pretty impressive. It does cost a lot but a dedicated fan of Michael Jackson with the money should get it. Unless you really want the opus you should get another tribute or perhaps the Michael Jackson Vault. It's unfortunate that the digital extras were not included with the book and I don't have them as of yet, I hope for some unseen footage but I don't know what will happen with that. The Opus is something to consider for fans but it is not five star quality.
