We'll see how this season goes, using the methods outlined in this book. It's a big adjustment to invest so little time in training, which makes it hard to believe that I will actually race faster. There's no doubt that the workouts are demanding. Anyone who has a few years' racing under their belt, and is only racing up to Olympic distance (occasional foray into 1/2) could probably benefit from a season using this book. More family/work/recreation time while upping the speed is a good thing.
