This book is too big to be useful or take anywhere, it doesn't provide any useful information, and the folders in it for holding pictures or magazine clippings are too small for holding a normal sheet of paper and also too loose to hold anything smaller (they fall right out). I suggest that if you want a binder, buy an empty one to fill yourself, that's what I ended up doing!

After planning my wedding, I found this book to be of no value whatsoever. The folders weren't even large enought to hold all of the stuff that you get. In my opinion it only adds work to an already time consuming ordeal.

My mother brought this home for me when I was first talking about marriage with my now-fiance. We went back and checked the 8,000 wedding planners, and this was best one all-around.

The best feature is the 3-ring notebook aspect with its attached hole punch. This allows you to insert your own paperwork, ideas, magazine articles, etc., into the appropriate categories. They have pre-made divider tabs for about 10 different categories along with little pockets on the dividers to place small items.

The authors have included detailed checklists for everything from bridal party responsibilities to a minute-by-minute timeline for the wedding day. Especially helpful are the vendor comparison charts covering everything from ceremony sites to limo companies. There are a number of questions I wouldn't have thought to ask some of the vendors.

It's not the most portable one out there, but the flexibility of having a 3-ring notebook makes it worth it. I highly recommend it!

This binder really gets you started on the right track, especially if you are more of a 'tomboy' who has not been planning their own wedding since the age of 3 ! Besides having to reorganize the folders (created my own tabs), the worksheets kept my husband & I on-track and we carried the binder everywhere with us, which was most useful at meetings with the photographers, florist, etc. Since then I have purchased for my newly engaged relatives and friends.... Hand-in-hand with the web-site, you should be good to go ! Enjoy your engagement.....

I bounght and then returned this book, primarily because although the format (binder etc.) was excellent the content left much to be desired.
The information contained was relatively sparse, and several pages would have had to be xeroxed - for example the 'Guest List' was only one page with space for maybe 16 names.

Instead I bought the 'Easy Wedding Planner, Organizer & Keepsake' (same authors), removed the pages from the spiral binding and put them in my own ringbound folder, so I could punch and add my own paperwork. I would recommend doing the same; even though it takes some time, it's worth it!

Thought I liked it in the bookstore, until I got home and couldn't fit a normal sheet of paper in the folders. Unfortunately, I wrote in it before I tested the folders, so I'm trying to get my $$ back from the company. I'm sorry I wasted my money... I should have read the reviews here first.

I absolutely love this!! I was carrying around 6 different planners until I received this as a gift. It has everything a bride-to-be needs and more!! I highly recommend it, whether you have entered the "bridezilla" stage of your planning or not, it will save you time and many sleep deprived nights!!
