J'ai visionné ce film, il y a déjà très longtemps et il m'a tellement marqué que j'en parle encore à mes ami(e)s. C'est vraiment un film fabuleux et je suis certaine qu'en quelque part, ce film est "réel".

ONE of the best love stories of all time!!,
By "kainoa77" (Las Vegas, NV USA) - See all my reviews

I had never seen this movie nor heard of it, til one night (for whatever reason) my husband and I were talking about movies and he brought this one up. After his long description of it, we went on a hunt to find it.... low and behold we found it @ a late night video store. I was so overwhelmed with the whole story and just the thought that something like that could exist. Such a love that would draw them together....like FATE. It could open any and everyone's eyes to the many splendors of true love and fate.So for those of you that haven't seen this yet, it is a MUST see!!

A Maid In Heaven Movie,
By A Customer
This review is from: Made in Heaven > (VHS Tape)
If you believe in love, if you believe that their is only one special someone for you, if you believe that the love you share with your significant other was "Made in Heaven," this is the movie for you. Timathy hutton plays the all American nice guy who dies after rescuing two kids from drowning. In heaven, he meets the love of his life played by Kelly Mcgillis. As they are about to marry, her soul is sent to earth. Timathy's character asked to be sent to earth to find her. He is given thirty years to do so. This sweeping story is nothing short of mesmerizing. You can't help but route for these two people. You want them to find each other and you care about the things they are going through. This film makes you believe in the "L" word in it's true sense. Even if you are not one who can grasp or understand the notion that love made in heaven is a possibility, you can't help but get caught up in this little story about these two love struck souls. I highly recommend this movie to every romantic at heart person out there. If you ever find yourself in the arms of your loved one on a lazy, rainy Sunday afternoon, this is the movie to cozy up with. Yes, it's a "Chick's Flick" but sometimes, they can be good too.

SIGH!,

One of the most romantic movies I ever saw in my life. The only thing I thought was unrealistic was that Timothy Hutton's character looks exactly the same in his next life-but I realise they had to do that-he's one of the stars- and you had to know who's who. Great story. I love the way they dipict heaven as being just like earth-except everything is perfect, and if you want to see someone or go somewhere, all you have to do is think and you're there. Much better imagery than the scenes in the more recent "What dreams may come". In that one, heaven was like a big painting that you had to be careful not to smudge. Check it out if you're a hopeless romantic like me, and love movies about the afterlife and reincarnation. Fascinating and beautiful. I could never get tired of this one! I'm anxiously awaiting it's release on DVD.-Cheryl Petersen

Refreshing Way of Looking at Things That May Be True...,

I saw this movie a number of years ago and I am so glad that Amazon has it. I need to add it to my collection which is a small specific collection. You know what I find almost as amazing as the concepts of this movie explaining life, death and birth? That as I read some of the reviews, the confidence (these being professional critics) that this couldn't possibly be true in any sense. Therefore they use words like cheesiness to desribe it. Which makes me ponder hey they do they have the inside track on the big questions of life, death and birth? Well, as sarcastic and confident as they seem to be they must know for sure the answers about life, death and birth. At any rate they wrote those reviews as if they know all the answers. But I wouldn't trust them at all. With all of our technology as it grows each day we still find these questions a mystery and no one knows for sure. The film is not predictable in the writing and the answers its poses to us are quite interesting. For my money its worth it, its not the typical commercial endeavor. And it gives us as human beings who all ask these questions even with our confidence and sarcasm as chance to feel and think a bit differently.

My Favorite For 15 Years,

I have cherished this movie since I was nine years old. I finally bought it about a week ago. It is beautifully made, supremely romantic and fascinating at the same time. It gives an image of heaven that we all would love to believe. It makes you believe in ever-lasting love and the goodness in the hearts of others. I will always love this movie--it holds a special place in my heart.

Suspenseful Ending!,
By Kari Brockway (Brea, CA United States) - See all my reviews

I am a hopeless romantic when it comes to past life and fantasy movies. This one is on my favorites list. I'm glad Amazon has it because I couldn't remember the name of the flic! If you liked Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves in their past-life love affair movie you'll love this one! Alot of time is spent showing the main characters apart but that seems to add to the nervous feeling of expectation you will have hovering around you until you get to the ending! Okay, guys, it's a chick flick! :-)

"There's more to the picture than meets the eye!",

I saw this movie for the first time on TV by 'accident' and was quite intrigued by the whole thing. But, like most naive viewers, only saw what appeared on the surface. Being a life-long Neil Young fan, I was very interested in his part in it, but at that time had no idea the title song "We've Never Danced" was one of his. The second time I saw it on TV I taped it, commercials and all, and it began to grow on me. Shortly after, I had a terrible tragedy in my own life and the 'Heaven' aspect took deeper roots. A few years later at my daughter's wedding, I was completely surprised when she chose "We've Never Danced" for the father/daughter dance selection. It was on that 'ballroom floor' that the whole meaning began to sink in. Through my tears I realized that there were no 'accidents' and what was 'made in Heaven' was not the love story, it was the song. From the first note played upon the arrival in Heaven to the final composition when the band is formed, it is the song that slowly takes center stage, enters your heart, and leaves you forever enchanted. This movie is a must-see for all those who desire learning to read between the lines, only to find out that things are not always what they appear to be. "If you don't really know where you want to go, it makes no difference which road you choose." Thank-you Alan Rudolph, and thanks again Neil. Buy it now...it could change your whole outlook!
